Kanhaiya Lal Agrawal has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the four-laning of a 5.275 km section of National Highway-45 from Keonchi to Ratanpur in Chhattisgarh.
The project, awarded under Package 03 (km 0.000 to km 5.275), will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis. The scope includes upgrading the existing highway into a four-lane corridor with paved shoulders to enhance road capacity, improve safety standards, and ensure smoother traffic movement.
The company secured the contract with a bid value of Rs 124.22 crore for the tender floated by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH). The proposed development is expected to strengthen regional connectivity by improving integration between local road networks and the national highway corridor, while also supporting faster movement of goods and passengers.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to modernize highway infrastructure in Chhattisgarh and boost economic and logistics growth across the region.
